UNC Charlotte offers a variety of services to help make your time on campus as productive as possible.
Niner Central – Niner Central is a single location for you to go for services related to financial aid and billing, registration, transcripts, student accounts, academic records and more. Located at the front entrance of the Cone Center, open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Accessibility – The Office of Disability Services works to ensure that students with disabilities have access to education and campus life at UNC Charlotte. Through collaboration with the institution’s diverse community, Disability Services facilitates accommodations, discourse, and engagement to promote a universally accessible learning environment for all.ensures access to academic programs and the campus facilities of UNC Charlotte for all individuals. Register with them for the accommodations you need. Niner Paratransit also is available to assist people with mobility disabilities.
Student Health Center – The UNC Charlotte Student Health Center provides primary medical care, disease prevention, health education, wellness promotion, and various specialty services to all registered UNC Charlotte students, regardless of the type of health insurance they carry. Counseling and Psychological Services – The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) supports the holistic well-being and academic success of students and contributes to a healthy and inclusive campus climate. This is accomplished by providing short-term individual and group counseling, crisis management, consultation, referral services, and educational and preventive initiatives for the campus community. CAPS services are free to graduate students. CAPS provides individual counseling, group counseling, workshops, and more. Bookstore – Located in the Student Union, the Bookstore is your place to purchase textbooks and supplies for your upcoming classes. Books can be ordered online and delivered to your address or picked up at the Bookstore.

International Students – The International Student Scholars Office (ISSO) is available to help international students become familiar with campus, fellow students and the community through various networking events and programs. English language instruction is available from the English Language Training Institute (ELTI) for international students planning to attend U.S. universities. ISSO also provides helpful information for new international students getting started on their New International Student Orientation page. Library – The J. Murrey Atkins Library offers a wide array of services and resources to support your research needs. From individual study rooms to rentable laptops and more, Atkins Library provides resources you need to succeed. Visit the Library website for more information on the services offered.
Police – The Campus Police work to ensure the overall safety of students, faculty and staff at UNC Charlotte. Blue light phones, which connect to the Campus Police Department, are available throughout the campus. In addition, the University offers a Campus Escort Service.
LiveSafe App- LiveSafe enables direct and discreet two-way communication with your company or school safety officials using text, picture, video, and audio.
Adult & Evening Students – OASES offers services designed to assist the adult, evening and weekend student.
