Jennifer Adelhart

Jennifer (Jen) Adelhardt is in her third year as a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Scholar at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry leading teams in digital transformation and product strategy, Jen brings a practitioner’s lens to her academic work, which centers on neurodiversity, entrepreneurship, team psychological safety, and innovation in the workplace and the classroom.

Since beginning her DBA journey in 2023, Jen has embraced the balance between rigorous research and real-world impact. She serves as Chair of the Media & Communications Committee for DBA Chronicles, a nonprofit organization that supports current and aspiring DBA students. She is also part of the adjunct faculty in the Belk College of Business here at UNC Charlotte, a TEDx speaker, and a frequent contributor to conversations on neurodiversity and creating spaces where everyone can thrive.

Originally from the Northeast, Jen now calls Charlotte her home, where she lives with her husband, kid, and pet bearded dragon. She enjoys exploring local walking and hiking trails, playing board games, and creating custom bourbon-based cocktails in her spare time. As a Graduate Life Fellow, Jen is excited to build community across disciplines and help fellow graduate students feel seen, supported, and successful during their time at UNC Charlotte.
