Future Faculty Fellowship
The Reynolds Center for Graduate Life and Learning is pleased to announce a new program for graduate students interested in a college teaching career. This program replaces the Graduate School Teaching Fellowship and will prepare 10 doctoral students who are on track to graduate in the following academic year to apply for tenure-track faculty positions.
Students with strong academic and teaching records are encouraged to apply by April 15, 2024. Interviews and selection of Fellows will take place in May.
The Future Faculty Fellowship will be held as a one-week intensive training during the week of August 12, 2024. Fellows will be expected to be in attendance for 6-8 hours each day from August 12th through August 16th. The areas to be covered include
- a teaching philosophy
- a syllabus
- a teaching demonstration
- a research portfolio
- a CV and cover letter
Each Fellow will be paid a $500 stipend upon completion of the program.
